We're looking for environmental engineering professionals to help train and improve cutting‐edge AI models. Your domain expertise will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex environmental challenges — from contaminant transport to regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do
* Design Complex Problems — Develop advanced environmental engineering challenges spanning contaminant transport, mass balance in treatment systems, hydrology, and Life Cycle Assessments (LCA)
* Author Ground‐Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step‐by‐step technical solutions — including chemical dosage calculations, hydraulic flow models, and pollutant dispersion simulations — that serve as gold‐standard reference responses
* Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI‐generated remediation plans, environmental impact statements, and mathematical reasoning for technical accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance (EPA, ISO 14001, and others)
* Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical errors such as incorrect stoichiometry in biological processes or overlooked secondary environmental impacts, then provide structured feedback to improve how the model thinks
* Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
* Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering (environmental focus), or a closely related field
* Strong foundational knowledge in one or more of: aquatic chemistry, wastewater process design, air quality engineering, or hazardous waste remediation
* Skilled at communicating complex technical concepts clearly and precisely in writing
* Detail‐oriented — you catch unit conversion errors (mg/L vs. ppm), flawed chemical equations, and gaps in regulatory logic
* No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
* Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or technical review workflows
* Familiarity with environmental modeling software (e.g., AERMOD, SWMM, EPANET)
* Background in EHS compliance or environmental impact assessment
