We're now looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team in Hawthorn. Reporting to the Accounts Team Leader, this role will play a key part in supporting smooth financial operations across the Group's diverse divisions.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing day-to-day accounts payable processing - verifying invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and maintaining supplier records.
* Assisting with accounts receivable transactions, including raising and matching claim invoices.
* Coordinating staff reimbursements and vendor setups, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
* Providing finance administration support such as intercompany transactions, reporting, and process improvements.
* Liaising with internal teams, trades, and suppliers to resolve queries quickly and professionally.
About You
You're organised, detail-oriented, and love getting the numbers right. You enjoy working in a team environment but can also take ownership of your own tasks. Ideally, you bring:
* Proven experience in Accounts Payable (construction industry experience highly regarded).
* Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with MYOB (or similar finance systems).
* A collaborative approach and a desire to continuously improve processes.
