Position Summary
Our client is a premium wholesale trade supplier of quality digital wide format printing to the sign and display industry. They are looking for skilled and experienced mechanical engineering technicians to join their business.
Responsibilities
* Analyse data, assemble and conduct tests of mechanical systems.
* Prepare and draw designs for mechanical engineering work and mechanical engineers.
* Organise work stations by selecting tools and maintaining equipment.
* Install mechanical assemblies and other machine tools/power systems.
* Conduct tests of mechanical systems and analyse data.
* Carry out complex computing tasks.
* Supervise and organise machine maintenance.
* Assist junior mechanical engineering technicians.
* Use hand tools, power tools and specialised equipment.
* Ensure designs and work are finished to work specifications and regulations.
Qualifications
* AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or equivalent; at least three years of relevant experience may substitute formal qualifications.
* Proficiency in Computer‐Aided Design (CAD) software, 3‐D modelling and interpreting technical drawings.
* Critical thinking and problem‐solving skills.
Remuneration
You will receive between $75,000 and $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation.
