Overview
Maximum Altitude Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable MR Truck Driver to join our team in Pooraka at the DHL site. This is a casual position with hours that typically range from 35-45 hours per week. We will also consider drivers that may only want to work 3-4 days per week on a flexible roster.
The position is driving in a 2 man team truck delivering pallets and hand unloading around the Adelaide metro area. Typically the hours of work are 7am - 3pm.
Responsibilities
- Safely operating and maintaining medium rigid trucks to transport goods across metropolitan and regional areas
- Adhering to all relevant road rules and transportation regulations
- Ensuring thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections are completed
- Maintaining accurate trip logs and other documentation
- Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as required
- Providing excellent customer service to clients
What we're looking for
- Hold a valid MR class driver's license with a good driving history and must have a minimum of 6 demerit points available
- Applicants must be well presented, fit and in good health
- Applicants must be able to present a clean crime check report when requested
- Applicants must have full working rights
- Have experience operating medium rigid trucks
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
