About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our legal team in a dynamic and fast‐paced corporate environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable legal professional working closely with corporate attorneys and business stakeholders to support a broad range of legal, governance, and contract management activities across Australia, New Zealand and the broader Asia Pacific.
What You'll Do
* Provide corporate secretarial support across multiple legal entities in Australia and New Zealand, including board meetings and governance processes.
* Support corporate attorneys with legal research, drafting commercial deeds and agreements, document review, and other legal tasks.
* Assist with the resolution of complex legal and governance matters under attorney supervision.
* Maintain and improve legal documentation, repositories, and internal procedures.
* Conduct legal research and collate relevant legislation, case law, regulations, and legal materials to support legal advice and document preparation.
* Manage contract lifecycle coordination, including intake, task allocation, stakeholder follow‐up, and coordination of feedback and approvals.
What You'll Bring
* A degree or equivalent relevant experience.
* Strong experience in paralegal, legal operations, corporate governance, and/or in‐house legal support roles.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high‐quality work.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
* The ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands.
* Sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
* A strong understanding of confidentiality and the appropriate handling of sensitive information.
* Experience working with legal documents, contract processes, and document management systems.
* Well‐developed legal research and legal analysis skills.
Additional Information
* Must have full working rights for Australia.
* This is not a hybrid role; the position requires working onsite at our Tullamarine office five days a week.
