Join our team as a Psychologist, Pakenham Community Care Team (PCCT). This part-time, ongoing position (40 hours per fortnight) is based at Pakenham Health Centre, within the Casey Community Mental Health Service.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate psychologist to deliver evidence-based psychological services to individuals with mental health challenges such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, depression, and other severe mental illnesses. The role involves psychological assessment, diagnosis, formulation, treatment planning, and offering a psychological perspective to the multidisciplinary team.
About You
* Conduct assessments using systemic formulation, structured interviews, and psychometric testing.
* Engage with families and carers to support holistic care.
* Prepare reports and provide feedback to clients, families, and professionals.
* Deliver evidence-based interventions like CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and psychoeducation.
* Develop behavior support plans and collaborate with the team.
Mandatory Requirements
* Current general registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
* Endorsement in clinical or forensic psychology (or working towards it).
