About the role
This is a hybrid Leasing Manager / Assistant Property Manager role, with the position being predominantly leasing-focused while also providing hands-on exposure supporting our Property Managers.
It's an ideal opportunity for someone who loves leasing, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated to progress into a Property Manager role in the future. We actively promote from within and provide the structure, mentoring, and support to help you grow.
You will be based out of our modern Beenleigh office and work closely with our Property Management, Leasing, and administrative support teams.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing Management (Primary Focus):
* Conduct open homes and private inspections across Brisbane and the Gold Coast
* Advertise properties and manage online listings
* Process applications and conduct thorough tenant screening
* Prepare comparative market analysis reports for landlords
* Liaise with the Business Development Manager regarding upcoming new managements
* Provide regular leasing updates to property owners
* Coordinate lease sign-ups and handovers
Assistant Property Management Support:
* Assist Property Managers with entries, exits, and routine inspections as required
* Support maintenance coordination and follow-ups
* Communicate with tenants, landlords, and trades when needed
* Gain exposure to end-to-end portfolio management under experienced mentors
Saturday work is required, with one weekday off in lieu.
About you
* Previous experience in residential leasing (essential)
* Assistant Property Manager experience is an advantage but not required
* QLD Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence
* Reliable, organised, and confident managing multiple tasks
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Professional presentation and a customer-first mindset
* Goal-driven, self-motivated, and eager to progress your career
* Experience with 'Managed' Property Management software is highly regarded
