About the role:
With our client showing continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join their Northern Territory team to work on an exciting long term project.
This role is a full-time Permanent opportunity based in Darwin, Northern Territory.
Relocation cost is covered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for creating detailed project schedules that include baselines, all relevant tasks, milestones, as well as managing float and critical path.
* They must ensure that these schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with the construction project's scope of work.
* Regularly monitor project progress and update schedules in conjunction with Project Team. Communicate any changes to project managers, contractors, and subcontractors in a timely and effective manner.
* Produce earned value forecasts and report on same weekly with project team.
* Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders, to ensure that schedules and plans are aligned with construction project goals and objectives
About you:
To be successful in the role, you will need:
* Degree/Diploma qualified in Engineering, building or construction project management preferred
* Minimum 5 years experience Australian commercial, residential and/or civil projects or experience in a similar role - Bulk Earthworks particularly desirable.
* Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
* Proficient reporting skills (both in writing and presenting)
* Firm understanding of the best practice scheduling
* Hold a construction safety card
