Waste Operations Logistics Officer Job
This role is a key part of our waste management operations, requiring strong organisational and time management skills to ensure the smooth running of daily logistics activities.
The successful candidate will have experience in logistics, transport coordination or supply chain operations, with a current Class C Driver's Licence and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate daily logistics activities, including managing a fleet of trucks and tracking schedules, deliveries, and stock levels using internal systems.
* Liaise with workshops and suppliers for vehicle maintenance and servicing.
* Support procurement and stock control of operational supplies.
* Maintain focus on safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in logistics, transport coordination or supply chain operations.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Confident communication skills.
* Strong administration skills.
* Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
* Current Class C Driver's Licence.
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
* Experience in waste management or local government operations.
* Understanding of environmental and safety standards in transport or waste industries.
