About the Role:
As our HR & WHS Support, you will play a critical role in strengthening compliance and safety frameworks while supporting broader people operations across the group. This role presents a great opportunity to launch or further build your career within a fast‑paced, diverse business. You will gain exposure across recognised brands including NightOwl, as well as our broader portfolio such as Think Commercial and the Benson Hotel, providing valuable hands‑on experience across multiple industries and operational environments.
In this role, you will:
* Provide day‑to‑day HR and WHS administration support, including recruitment coordination activities, ensuring people and compliance processes are accurately maintained and followed.
* Draft, update and maintain HR, WHS and compliance policies, procedures and templates, supporting consistency, best practice and legislative alignment.
* Support end‑to‑end onboarding and offboarding administration, including preparation of employment documentation, pre‑employment checks, system access, training enrolments and WHS requirements.
* Coordinate recruitment administration, including interview scheduling, phone screening, conducting interviews, reference checks, offer documentation and pre‑employment compliance requirements.
* Track, monitor and follow up mandatory training, licences, certifications and WHS documentation, escalating gaps or risks where required.
* Support the implementation and ongoing administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), WHS platform and other people systems, including data entry, reporting and user support.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records across HR, WHS and learning systems, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality and compliance.
* Provide administrative support for audits, reporting and compliance activities across People Operations, including workforce and recruitment‑related reporting where required.
What we are looking for:
* Experience or exposure in Compliance, HR, WHS, or Policy Development is desirable; however, a proactive, can‑do attitude and a strong willingness to learn are equally important.
* Strong attention to detail with well‑developed organisational and time‑management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
* Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* A positive, proactive mindset with a genuine desire to support colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
