Are you a passionate Chef de Partie who thrives on working with seasonal, garden-grown produce and wants to be part of something truly special?
At Coogee Common, we are more than a restaurant — we are a garden-to-table destination set on beautiful historic grounds in Coogee, Western Australia. We grow much of what we serve in our on-site organic gardens, orchards and beehives. Our menus are shaped by the seasons, and everything possible is made in-house — from fresh breads and preserves to event canapés and wedding feasts.
With a thriving à la carte service alongside a busy calendar of weddings and private functions, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team.

This is a role where you will learn deeply — from whole-produce cookery and preservation to large-scale function execution and refined plating.
The Role
* Run and maintain your section with consistency and efficiency
* Work closely with senior chefs on seasonal menu development
* Prepare high-quality dishes for restaurant service and functions
* Contribute to prep, preservation, fermenting and in-house production
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety
* Support and mentor junior team members
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a CDP or strong Commis ready to step up
* Passion for seasonal, sustainable and produce-led cooking
* Strong technical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to perform under pressure in both service and event settings
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Experience with functions, weddings, or high-volume service is highly regarded.
