Waste Management Officer – This is a Fixed-term part-time position for 6 months at 0.6 FTE
Be part of a dynamic, customer-focused environment, and help deliver Council's waste, recycling and green organics services, whilst also supporting key resource recovery projects. You will work closely with fellow staff to ensure services are delivered efficiently whilst also satisfying community expectations, regulatory requirements, and Council's strategic goals.
Get involved in stakeholder management, customer service, administrative duties and reporting to support the team in delivering consistent and responsive waste services to our community.
Please note that while this position is offered on a fixed-term basis, there is the potential for an extension of up to a further six months, subject to organisational requirements and performance outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Sound judgment, strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously
* A proactive approach to data management, service improvement and project coordination
* The skills to collaborate, adapt, and positively manage community feedback
* A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the Council's requirements will be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
