Customer Service and Support Officer QLD
Delivering exceptional customer experiences is at the heart of this role. As a Customer Service and Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing sales, service, and support activities to our members, customers, stakeholders, and partners in the Queensland region.
* Identify potential new members by leveraging local knowledge and networking opportunities.
* Promote our products and services to existing and prospective members.
* Process new applications and related tasks for the delivery of new cards and certificates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the growth and retention of HIA members through proactive engagement and membership recruitment initiatives.
* Implement strategies to increase Associate member numbers and achieve membership retention targets.
* Process renewal payments and implement plans to keep first-year members engaged.
HIA Shop Sales and Stationery Support
* Provide high-quality customer outcomes through point-of-sale service, follow-up on phone and online inquiries, and promote HIA products and services.
* Manage stock levels, process stationery orders, and accept stock deliveries.
Regional Service Support
* Active participation in the National Reception Group, supporting inbound callers with their queries.
* Coordinate general office activities, including data entry, invoicing, banking, and petty cash management.
* Assist the QLD Events team with administration duties to support the success of the area's events program.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated ability to support the region to reach and exceed sales and service targets.
* Excellent administration, organisation, and time management skills.
* Drive and commitment to achieving results via a hands-on approach.
* Professional presentation and self-motivation with the ability to work within a team environment.
* Computer literacy with solid experience using MS Office.
* A willingness to work flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business.
