THE COMPANY
Our clientis an international company with a growing market in the heavy road transport / trailer industry who have their head office in Victoria.
They are a leading supplierand global manufacturer within the Australian transport industry and are committed toquality and supporting an ever-expanding range of clients across the region.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Sales Manager, a Business Development Manager you will assist with account management of existing clients, growing the business organically and to be part of a team the prides itself on their products and quality service to their clients.
Duties include but not limited to.
Maintaining existing client base, developing and expanding on current footprint
Ongoing business development to create new customer relationships
Provision of a high level of customer support to ensure existing business is well maintained and nurtured
Ongoing engagement with suppliers to coordinate and ensure seamless delivery
Work closely with your colleagues to contribute and achieve team targets
Oversee and take responsibility for operations coordination, ensuring day to day activities and business processes run smoothly

Experienced Sales Representative, Account Manager or BDM within the truck, trailer or heavy transport sector
Display a solid work ethic, be self-motivated and be results driven
Proven and exceptional organisation, time management and project management skills
Excellent communication with a sound technical understanding
