Position
Experienced Hospital Speech Pathologist required for a 3‐month locum to start ASAP (February or March), with the possibility of a 12‐month contract. Based just two hours from Melbourne, you will join a team of seven Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants serving adults in acute and sub‐acute/rehab settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Assessment and intervention for adult acute and sub‐acute/rehab patients in a hospital setting.
* Lead and mentor junior staff; share team leadership, supervision and mentoring responsibilities with senior clinicians.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
* Manage adults with disorders of communication and swallowing; videofluoroscopy competency highly regarded.
Qualifications
* Graduate with a valid Speech Pathology registration and experience in a hospital setting.
* Experience with adult disorders of communication and swallowing.
* Leadership experience or willingness to engage in team mentorship.
* Video fluoroscopic skills preferred.
