We are currently working with an established NFP organisation. Our client is a well‐known who has a national presence. They are looking for a Risk Manager to join their team in the Melbourne head office.
Reporting to the CFO, your primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Reviewing risk management policies and protocols
* Developing a long‐term risk strategy
* Drafting and presenting reports to Risk Committee and Board members
* Managing the core risk management processes
* Providing advice and training to the business
* Integrating and implementing risk management activities with organisational strategies
Your background
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and minimum 5 years' experience within Risk & Compliance (Experience within NFP organisations would be considered advantageous but not essential).
* Hands‐on and proactive approach
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
* Your Risk experience is your 'tool kit' but key to success will be your natural curiosity, outstanding relationship and influencing skills, strong business acumen and ability to work at both a strategic and operational level as required.
