The position:
We have an opportunity for a National Account Manager to join our Consumer Sales Team. Reporting into our Customer Business Manager, Woolworths, you'll be responsible for designing and executing plans that align with Woolworths category strategy and KCA's category and brand strategies to exceed net sales targets.
You will lead the range and merchandising review processes and be a passionate advocate for Woolworths within the KCA organization.
Through collaboration with your cross-functional team, you'll develop shopper activation plans to unlock category growth opportunities. Using data to understand customer/channel performance, you'll take a proactive approach to resolving any potential challenges.
This is an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager or Account Executive who wants to progress their career and take on a more senior role in a key strategic category and account for KCA.
This role is based in North Sydney.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Development, analysis, implementation and management of customer and promotional plans to achieve volume and NSV budgets.
2. Collaboration with Woolworths replenishment contacts to maintain accuracy of sales forecasts and work with demand planning and ISP stakeholders to manage stock movement.
3. Identifying opportunities to tailor KCA's strategy to better align with Woolworths category vision, including pricing, promotions, range and differentiation.
4. Assisting in the development and delivery of KCA range reviews and leveraging category management principles, space planning tools and other applicable resources.
5. Contributing to improved collaboration between KCA and Woolworths through developing trusting relationships and being proactive in responding to requests.
About You:
1. A university graduate with a degree in Sales, Business or related field, ideally with experience in FMCG and consumer sales.
2. Strong financial, budgeting and forecasting skills, as well as an understanding of category management principles and experience using systems like IRI Aztec and Microsoft Office.
3. Demonstrated experience in managing multiple stakeholders and articulating business priorities, drivers, risks and opportunities.
4. Customer-focused with basic influencing and negotiation skills and a passion for building collaborative and trusting relationships.
