Overview
The Boeing MQ28 - Ghost Bat is a globally-significant program that will deliver a disruptive advantage to support Defence operational capabilities.
Developed in partnership with the Royal Australian Air Force, it is the first military combat aircraft to be designed, manufactured and assembled in Australia in 50 years.
Responsibilities
Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Perform multi-disciplinary trade studies to evaluate configuration alternatives for functional requirements and recommend a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years' experience in complex technical development and integration projects (essential).
Hold tertiary qualifications in either Aerospace, Avionics, or Mechatronics that satisfy the requirements for membership with Engineers Australia (MIEAust) or equivalent technical experience in a Systems Engineering discipline (essential).
Experience using 3DExperience, DOORS and MSOSA (desirable).
Experience with Agile delivery methodologies (highly regarded).
Experience with aerospace and/or Defence projects (highly regarded).
