Duties
* Direct management of one Payroll Officer
* Processing of fortnightly payroll
* Administer and reconcile employee entitlement including paid parental leave and long service leave
* Employee & stakeholder support, resolving Payroll queries
* Managing processes & procedures, ensuring best practice & efficiency
* Processing of monthly superannuation
* Processing of monthly payroll tax
* Assisting with other HR & Finance projects and tasks as required
Role Requirements
* Ideally 5+ years experience in Payroll for a mid sized organisation (400+ employees)
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Business/Finance
* Knowledge of applicable awards and legislation and ability to review and apply legislation as required
* Advanced Excel skills
* High attention to detail
* Excellent communication & customer service skills
