The Role
* Conduct routine quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Coch operators to identify and address defective products.
* Manage specification and product changes, including document control systems.
* Prepare and submit monthly reports.
* Perform internal quality audits.
* Inspect customer complaints and conduct necessary testing and sampling.
* Test competitive products.
Key Responsibilities:
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring quality system compliance through asset audit quality checks, coaching operators in quality control, specification changes, customer complaint assessment and competitor consumer sample testing.
Requirements
* Tertiary, TAFE, or Certificate III in laboratory skills or equivalent qualifications for laboratory work.
* Completion of certification procedures for product testing (e.g., Standard Test Methods) within 6 months of starting the role.
* Systematic and methodical approach with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
