Lead Maintenance Planner
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Maintenance Planner. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering short- and long-term maintenance work plans.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and communicate accurate work plans for maintenance tasks
2. Prepare detailed work packages with scopes, drawings, and forecasts
3. Coordinate both planned outages and urgent reactive maintenance
4. Provide regular reports on job plans and suggest improvements
5. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure plans meet operational needs
6. Guide and align other planners to ensure consistent processes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A relevant trade qualification, ideally in mechanical engineering
* Experience in heavy industry or power station environments
* Confidence using CMMS tools like ELLIPSE and other planning systems
* The ability to build relationships across engineering and operations teams
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
* A natural mentorship approach to helping others improve planning and delivery
