Job Title:
A high-performance culture is essential for the success of a leading food manufacturing organisation in the region. The People & Culture Manager – Operations will play a crucial role in driving this culture, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
About the Role:
* Developing and implementing people strategies that improve team performance and engagement by partnering with operational leaders.
* Coaching and supporting managers on employee performance, development, and relations issues to ensure a positive work environment.
* Managing core HR activities including absenteeism, transfers, exit interviews, and performance management processes to maintain a fair and equitable workplace.
* Delivering timely and accurate reporting and analytics to support business decisions and drive strategic growth.
* Supporting talent identification and development planning in collaboration with operational leaders to ensure succession planning.
* Contributing to change initiatives, including restructuring and capability-building programs, to drive organisational change.
* Advising managers on HR policies, procedures, and relevant employment legislation to ensure compliance and best practices.
* Facilitating workforce planning activities and recruitment approvals in partnership with Talent Acquisition to meet business needs.
* Participating in broader HR projects and contributing to continuous improvement efforts to enhance HR services.
Requirements:
* Degree in human resources, business, or a related field (desired).
* At least 2 years of experience in a HR Business Partner or equivalent role with a proven track record of success.
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the organisation.
* Solid understanding of industrial relations legislation and its application in the workplace.
* Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and judgment to make informed decisions.
* Ability to engage frontline leaders and employees effectively.
* Proficiency in Excel and reporting skills, with experience in fast-paced or customer-focused environments considered advantageous.
