Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Site Supervisor / Junior Site Manager to join our team.
This role will support the delivery of commercial construction projects from site establishment through to completion and handover. You will work closely with the Director, Site Managers, subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high quality standard.
The position provides an excellent development pathway into full Site Management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Support daily supervision of subcontractors and site works
* Help ensure works are completed safely, to specification and on programme
* Coordinate deliveries, site access and logistics
* Assist with working in live and occupied environments
* Support site safety systems including SWMS, inspections and toolbox talks
* Assist with quality inspections and defect management
* Help track project progress and subcontractor performance
* Support client, tenant and stakeholder coordination
* Maintain site records including daily diaries and inspections
We are looking for someone who is motivated, organised and eager to develop within a growing commercial builder.
* Experience in commercial construction (Supervisor, Leading Hand, Foreperson, Ex-Carpenter/Concreter/Formworker)
* Strong understanding of site safety requirements and construction sequencing
* Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage site activities
* Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment
