Seeking a Business Expert to Drive Finance and Business Support in Hospitals.
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality finance and business support which aligns with the organisation's objectives.
The Role:
Your role as Business Expert is integral to achieving finance and business support outcomes within clinical and corporate teams across the Launceston General Hospital.
Working closely with our Business Managers, you will be required to:
1. Utilise your initiative to assist the Business Manager by researching and analysing finance and business management topics to inform Clinical Directors, Nursing Directors, Nurse Unit Managers, and Managers.
2. Support and work collaboratively with Managers and Nurse Unit Managers for the provision and facilitation of financial reporting, business advice, procurement guidance, contractual and human resource information necessary for the effective operation of the respective areas, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
3. Apply your financial skills to assist with the compilation of month-end reporting, reviewing, investigating, coding claims and invoices for approval with a high degree of accuracy.
4. Use your well-developed communication skills and knowledge to research and draft correspondence and prepare reports on multiple matters under the guidance of the Business Manager.
Key Selection Criteria include:
1. Sound knowledge or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of Government accounting procedures, with the capacity to provide support, advice, and make recommendations to stakeholders.
2. Demonstrated advanced financial analysis skills with the ability to research, interpret information, and recommend appropriate actions.
3. Well-developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide advice within the political, social, and organisational context.

Multiple permanent, full-time day positions are available, working 76 hours per fortnight, starting soon. Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant.
Salary: $98,255 to $103,069 per annum, plus 12% superannuation contribution.
