This opportunity is for an experienced, highly skilled and safety focussed Operations Technician /Senior Permit Authority to join our LNG Maintenance Team. This role is responsible for performing planned & breakdown maintenance activities as required to maintain a safe, reliable & efficient LNG plant.
About the role
* To fully understand and manage the Permit to Work Process and provide Operational support when required.
* Issue and manage permits, including daily issuance and Senior Permit Authority (SPA) coverage.
* Provide execution support during maintenance events on site including Shutdowns, as Operations Support .
* Provide isolation verification and hosing/fitting support, including long-term isolation verification
What are we looking for you to bring to the team
* Mechanical Fitting Trade
* Preferred experience in a Permit Authority role
* 5 to 10+ years of permit systems
* 5+ years’ experience in Heavy Industry, Oil and Gas preferred
* Intermediate computing and Microsoft office skills
* Capability and flexibility to handle multiple tasks in restricted timeframes to support Project team
* Prior experience and demonstrated ability to perform within a team environment
* SAP experience and able to read drawings (P&IDs) would be desirable
