About you
We're a growing business with teams in Australia and the UK. We're looking for an experienced IT professional to take responsibility for managing internal systems, supporting users across locations, and ensuring a secure and reliable technology environment.
Reporting to the CTO, this role covers a broad range of responsibilities from setting up the office network and managing devices to supporting staff and maintaining SaaS systems. You'll work closely with colleagues across departments and time zones to help keep everything running smoothly, whether staff are in the office or working remotely.
About the role
On a daily basis, you're expected to:
Infrastructure & Systems
* Set up and maintain the office network, Wi-Fi, and firewall, including DMZ architecture
* Select and manage tools for device management, software provisioning, and secure access
* Provision and configure laptops (macOS and Windows) for staff across multiple locations
* Monitor backups, endpoint protection, and remote access tools
Support & Operations
* Provide timely IT support to users in both Australia and the UK
* Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including devices, access, and accounts
* Administer and maintain SaaS platforms (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian Suite)
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for remote and office-based staff
Security & Compliance
* Apply and maintain IT policies, including MFA, device encryption, and patching practices
* Ensure secure access and user management across systems and services
* Help maintain compliance with data protection standards in Australia, UK and elsewhere such as (UK)GDPR and HIPAA
Documentation & Planning
* Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for systems, processes, and access
* Work with the CTO to identify areas for improvement and plan scalable, long-term solutions
What you'll bring:
* 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure roles
* Strong working knowledge of macOS and Windows device management
* Experience with MDM tools (e.g. Rippling, Jamf, Intune, or similar)
* Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, and other common SaaS tools
* Familiarity with compliance products such as Vanta
* Sound understanding of network configuration and cybersecurity fundamentals
* Experience supporting users across time zones and in hybrid/remote work settings
* Strong problem-solving, prioritisation, and communication skills
* Experience managing projects and documenting technical systems
Nice to have:
* Knowledge of GDPR, Australian Privacy Principles, or ISO27001
* Experience working in a growing organisation and building systems that scale

Based in Adelaide, with flexibility to work from home when appropriate. In-office presence required as needed to support infrastructure and local staff.
