**About the Role**
The position will co-ordinate tendering and contracting services to customer organisations in a timely, relevant and accurate manner in accordance with government regulations and to meet the obligations of the department and its customers.
Key accountabilities include:
- Ensure day to day delivery of Tenders and Contracts activities, ensuring the services provided are timely, effective and efficient including ensuring that tenders and quotations activities are carried out accurately.
- Maintaining and filing comprehensive electronic and paper based documentation to facilitate effective contract management and compliance with relevant audit requirements.
- Lead and mentor customer nominated staff at all levels and over multiple sites to progress individual tender processes, including convening and participating in tender working parties.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to assist in maximising tender outcomes.
- Assisting the Contracts Managers in maintaining all operation manuals and policy and procedure manuals relating to tenders, contracts and sourcing.
- Assisting the Contracts Managers to meet the needs of the service and its internal and external customers for reporting in a timely and cost effective and efficient manner.
- Participating in the process of identifying improvements in the processing and provision of services and supporting the implementation of changes and initiatives.
**About You**
- Relevant Tertiary qualification.
- To maintain a highly professional, performance based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer service culture while successfully managing relationships.
- Exercise sound judgement and discretion in dealing with sensitive and contentious issues.
- Manage multiple projects to ensure timely completion and compliance with NSW Government procurement policy.
