Job Title: Part-time Assistant Store Manager
The role of the Part-time Assistant Store Manager is a pivotal position within our retail team. As a key support to the Store Manager, you will play a crucial part in driving customer-centric culture and delivering exceptional store experiences.
This dynamic and fast-paced role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in Visual Merchandising, stock control, and rostering. You will also be responsible for leading by example, conducting team development, and collaborating closely with senior management to achieve overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive a customer-centric culture and deliver meaningful store experiences through leadership by example.
* Conduct team development and align with business goals to achieve financial sales, profit, and productivity targets.
* Showcase expertise in Visual Merchandising to create an atmosphere that captures attention and delights customers.
* Oversight of store rostering and wage expenses, maintaining a sharp focus on commercial acumen.
* Manage stock (up to 15kg) in a fast-paced environment to ensure seamless customer shopping experiences.
* Diligent tracking of store sales performance, identifying opportunities for enhancement and communicating findings to peers and senior management.
* Closely collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to identify and recruit dedicated retail professionals.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as an Assistant/Store Manager or Full-time worker.
* A passion for the retail industry.
* Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports, and generate efficient rosters in the absence of the Store Manager.
* Operational excellence, experienced across stock control & keen eye for visual merchandising.
