Department of Health Tasmania – Burnie TAS. Although situated in Burnie, the North West Renal Satellite Unit is a department governed by Hospitals North. The Launceston General Hospital is Tasmania's second largest hospital with a busy elective, ambulatory and emergency service. The LGH works closely with the University of Tasmania and is a major clinical teaching and research centre. All our services work closely together to deliver excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, workforce and the Tasmanian community guided by our CARE values.
The Role
The Nurse Unit Manager of the NW Satellite Renal Service provides leadership and ensures the efficient and effective provision of care based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
You will need
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
* advanced knowledge and experience in renal nursing and Renal Satellite operation.
* strong leadership, decision making and business skills.
* initiative, resilience and the capability to build and maintain productive networks.
Details of appointment
Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.

Salary
$126,036 to $132,932 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

Other information
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
