The Prospect
Our Women Up Front Trainee Bus Driver Program offers you the support and training you need to become a licensed and confident bus driver. This includes:
- A friendly and supportive environment
- An extensive induction training program with a mix of classroom and on‑road training
- Training to obtain a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence
- A 12‑month training program (mix of classroom and on‑the‑job training) to gain a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Driving Operations – Bus)
- Industry‑leading pay throughout your training
- Being assigned a buddy throughout the training process to support your development
- Depot locations – North Fitzroy, Preston, Doncaster, Keysborough and Heatherton
- Excellent customer service skills and a love of working with people
- A current Australian car driver’s licence (full licence held for a minimum of 2 years)
- Willingness to have a pre‑employment functional, drug and alcohol assessment
- Ability to obtain a Driver Accreditation and Working With Children Check
- Hold Australian work rights (Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen)
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent customer service skills and a love of working with people
- A current Australian car driver’s licence (full licence held for a minimum of 2 years)
- Willingness to have a pre‑employment functional, drug and alcohol assessment
- Ability to obtain a Driver Accreditation and Working With Children Check
- Hold Australian work rights (Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen)
