Wohlfahrt Graceland Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and hardworking farm hand to join our team in Arriga, QLD. As a full-time farm manager, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that are essential to the day-to-day operations of our agricultural property.
What you'll be doing
Perform general farm duties such as collecting dead chickens from sheds, weighing, pest control, managing biosecurity, and managing feed.
Care for and maintain livestock, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health.
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment from time to time.
Ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of the farm's facilities and infrastructure.
Adhere to all safety protocols and biosecurity regulations.
What we're looking for
Previous experience on a chicken farm or in a similar agricultural setting is preferable.
Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment.
A current car licence (C class) is required for operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.
Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and biosecurity.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
