Overview
Account Executive, ANZ role at Qualys. The Account Executive is responsible for identifying prospects and actively driving and managing the sales cycle in the ANZ region, directly or via channel. The candidate should articulate Qualys technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, and lead prospects through the entire sales cycle with minimal technical assistance if possible.
Must identify technical and business issues of assigned accounts to ensure customer satisfaction throughout all stages of the sales process and establish/maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Responsibilities
* Identify and develop potential new business opportunities.
* Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams.
* Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
* Deliver high-level and detailed sales presentations.
* Reporting through Company's CRM.
* Train customers to use products effectively.
* Provide functional and technical support to customers.
* Identify solutions to reduce support costs.
* Responsible for attending conferences, seminars, etc.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* 5 years in sales covering the ANZ region is vital.
* Solid technical background with relevant soft skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Able to travel throughout sales territories.
* IT Security experience is a must.
Additional notes
Ideal candidate must have self-motivation with a strong sales background and knowledge in security space (e.g., Vulnerability Management, Compliance, Cloud and Container Security, EDR, or other enterprise security solutions). Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in response to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Organized and analytical, able to overcome sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
