Job Title: Principal Project Manager ICT
Contract: 6 months
Daily Rate: $800-$900 per day + super
Location: Parramatta + WFH

About the Role
This NSW Government Organisation is seeking a Principal Project Manager who will explore various IT functions and assess best suitability for a shared services model, allowing the department to streamline delivery. You will deep dive and assess how the department can optimise current IT, and review and identify opportunities across the department to utilise the delivery model, and to run a strategic roadmap for future delivery for shared services.
The hiring manager is seeking someone with similar experience, broad ICT (applications, systems, infrastructure) understanding and previous government exposure, who can review cross-sector ICT to identify IT service opportunities, and develop a recommendation report which includes analysis and proposed implementation plans.
You Will
* Project management of a cross-sector ICT review to identify IT as a service for opportunities
* Technical expertiseto identify opportunities
* Stakeholder identification and consultation workshops, 1:1s and garnering support for proposed opportunities
* Analysis of IT as a service opportunities, including costs, benefit and effort required
* Collation of information to support any necessary investment proposals
* Development of recommendation report which includes opportunityanalysis and proposed implementation plan
About You
* Broad ICT expertise across applications, systems, and infrastructure.
* Strong strategic project management experience, ideally within government or large, complex organisations.
* Proven ability to conduct ICT reviews and deliver target operating model or shared services recommendations.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and consultation skills at senior levels.
* Demonstrated capability in opportunity analysis, business case development, and advisory reporting.
