Join the Office of the 24 Hour Economy Commissioner, a division of the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and SportClerk Grade 7/8 with a salary range of $110,266 - $122,058 per annum plus superannuationOngoing role based in Sydney CBDAbout the roleThe Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner works to make NSW’s cities and communities more vibrant, inclusive, and safe after dark. We partner with industry, councils and communities to support a thriving night-time economy - one that offers more choice, creates jobs, boosts local businesses, and encourages people to enjoy everything our state has to offer beyond regular business hours. Our work helps shape places where people want to live, work, and socialise around the clock.The Program Officer provides essential project and administrative support to help deliver and evaluate programs that aim to make NSW’s cities and communities more vibrant, diverse, and inclusive around the clock. You'll play a key part in helping to turn ideas into action by supporting the coordination of innovative initiatives that contribute to the development of a safe and thriving 24-hour economy.Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, the Program Officer is responsible for tasks such as preparing project briefs, managing documentation, coordinating workshops, and tracking project progress. You’re comfortable preparing project documentation and presentations, managing timelines, and juggling competing priorities to help keep things on track. You have a good eye for detail, and you’re confident working to deadlines, even when things get busy or change quickly.You are a clear communicator who can build good working relationships with a range of people, from team members to stakeholders and external partners. You know how to listen, ask the right questions, and help solve problems as they arise.
