High-Level Structural Engineering Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced and accomplished senior or principal structural engineer to oversee the technical aspects of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage resources effectively, ensuring timely execution of work within budget and quality standards.
* Mentor and manage engineers and drafters, providing guidance on project delivery.
* Provide technical support and leadership to the business.
* Lead high-level projects, driving success through effective coordination and resource allocation.
Requirements:
* Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Technical expertise in structural design, with a focus on materials handling.
* Bulk materials handling experience, particularly with shiploaders and stacker/reclaimers.
* FEA modeling expertise, including proficiency with Strand7 and SpaceGass software.
* Leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide engineering teams.
* Develop new client relationships and foster existing ones.
* Certification in RPEQ and/or CPEng is essential.
