We are now inviting applications for the opportunity of Principal Agile Coach for Government Technology Platforms, within Digital NSW as it transforms to become the state's trusted partner to enable accessible and secure digital platforms and services for the citizens and business of NSW. About the role In this role you will promote lean and agile ways of working to support the delivery of projects and product initiatives, from concept through to strategy, implementation and continuous improvement, to meet organisational objectives within a hybrid of traditional and agile frameworks. Your day-to-day Drive Agile Transformation – Shape and execute the Agile uplift across the organisation, partnering with senior leadership to embed Agile principles and practices. Coach and Mentor – Provide expert coaching to teams and leaders. Governance and Metrics – Define and track Agile performance metrics, analyse delivery data, and present insights to inform strategic decisions. Continuous Improvement – Lead retrospectives and enterprise-wide improvement initiatives, removing systemic impediments and fostering innovation. Conduct Agile maturity assessments to evaluate team health and identify improvement areas. Standards and Enablement – Develop and maintain frameworks, playbooks, and guidelines, ensuring consistency and driving capability uplift. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate: Proven experience driving Agile transformation by coaching leaders and teams to embed Agile principles, uplift capability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Expertise in building organisational Agile maturity, including implementing frameworks and establishing standards, playbooks, and governance for consistent delivery practices. Demonstrated ability to lead capability uplift initiatives, enabling cross-functional teams to adopt Agile ways of working and scale practices across complex environments. Experience in advising and implementing enterprise-wide process improvements, leveraging Agile metrics and insights to enhance efficiency, compliance, and delivery predictability. Strong collaboration skills to influence senior stakeholders, align transformation strategies, and champion Agile-driven change for improved customer outcomes and business value.
