Ausdrill is currently seeking an experienced **Operational Maintenance Support Superintendent** to join our team.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your primary function will be provision of professional site support, ensuring Plant and Equipment are serviced and maintained compliant with OEM and the Contract Mining Asset Management Plan.
**Key Accountabilities and Duties**:
- Regular / Frequent site visits auditing all asset maintenance related activities providing direction and coaching.
- Working closely with the project team to deliver maximum availability of equipment for operations at the most cost-efficient level possible.
- Prompt reporting of key information updates to the Maintenance Manager & Operational leadership of any deviations to plan or abnormal incidents.
- Provide technical and product support relevant to site Plant and Equipment as required.
- Ensure all Plant and Equipment including Light Vehicles are well maintained, kept clean & tidy, all damage is reported, repaired and the appropriate cost recovery.
- Track and maintain optimum asset reliability ensuring project KPI's are achieved.
- Be always acquainted with the condition of operating Plant and Equipment within your portfolio of control.
- Work closely with the Plant Department planning function for component health and replacement strategy.
- Be able to Identify, quantify and manage risks and opportunities across all areas of responsibility.
- Time management and diplomatic skills attend to disciplinary issues if/ where required.
- Contribute to the investigation of incidents and accidents as required.
- Monitor all maintenance cost expenditure and equipment performance achieving budget or forecast requirements, intervene to improve as required.
- In conjunction with nominated Plant Department team members, ensure all maintenance documentation & statutory related information is kept up to date and maintained in the relevant systems.
- Monitor and manage leadership, employee satisfaction, feedback, and results.
**What Qualifications / Experience Do I Need?**
- Proficient with CMMS, ERP systems.
- Trade certificate; heavy diesel mechanical or mechanical engineering qualification
- Minimum 5 years' asset maintenance and management in a mining environment.
- Strong knowledge of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) particulars and variances.
- Excellent understanding of Asset Management and maintenance principles.
- Knowledge and demonstrated commitment to HSEQT legislative and corporate requirements.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Disciplined financial management; demonstrate a detailed understanding of relevant costs and analysis to achieve optimal outcomes.
