About the Role
As a Support Worker in our High Intensity SILS, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care for individuals with complex health needs. You’ll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for the individuals you support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of participants.
* Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
* Support participants with complex health and behavioural requirements, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Implement individualised support plans and behaviour management strategies.
* Administer medications and support participants with health-related tasks, following policies and procedures.
* Foster independence, social connection, and meaningful engagement in the community.
* Maintain accurate documentation and records, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
Please note: This role is based in a 24/7 supported living house, and staff will be required to work on a rotational 24/7 roster. This includes mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and public holidays.

About You
You are a compassionate and reliable individual with a genuine passion for helping others. Your experience in disability or aged care settings, combined with your ability to remain calm under pressure, makes you a strong fit for this role.
Key Criteria:
* Experience supporting individuals with high-health or complex care needs (preferred).
* A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related field (or willingness to obtain).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Understanding of person-centred care and behaviour management principles.
* Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
* A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
* Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (as per government requirements).
