Job tasks and responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day supervision activities of quality control and processing operations of a production floor
Aid in managing roster for approximately 70 staff on the floor
Ensuring production runs smoothly and KPIs are met
Review Quality Assurance reports
Ensure that all procedures are carried out correctly and in accordance with the QA regulations
Liaise between the Plant Manager, Quality Assurance Manager and the Maintenance Manager
Skills and experience
Knowledge of the responsibilities involved with the processing of livestock
Knowledge of both Aus-Meat and MSA requirements
Conform with all Quality Assurance programs.
The ability to liaise with both senior management and staff on the production floor
Must be able to delegate duties to staff while understanding their skill levels
Ensure training is provided to employees
Mediate with staff in a respectful manner
Proficient knowledge of computers
Candidates with the right skill set will be provided with further training through V&V Walsh's training program
