The Venue: Gage Roads Freo Brewery, located at the A Shed, Victoria Quay, Fremantle. An operational micro-brewery with a full-time on-site brewer and all-day dining, 7 days a week, with a maximum capacity of 1500 people.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a kitchen team; ensure that standard recipes are followed to maintain menu consistency.
- Involve in menu planning, design, and costings; manage relationships with suppliers and loyal customers to ensure high levels of service.

About you / Qualifications
- A career professional with hospitality experience; 2 years as Senior Chef de Partie or Sous Chef is advantageous
- A leader who can train and motivate a kitchen team
- Friendly, enthusiastic, positive can-do attitude; team player
- Creative flair and excellent presentation skills
- Ability to ensure standard recipes are followed for menu consistency
- Involvement in menu planning and costings
- Professional in managing relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure high service levels
Skills and Experiences
- Passion for food and willingness to explore new ideas
- Confident with solid customer service skills
- Experience in a similar role or as a Chef de Partie aiming to advance
- Works well unsupervised; proactive problem solving
- Ability to supervise junior staff
- Trade qualification advantageous
- Understanding of Perth's catering and events industry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to multitask; attention to detail; positive attitude
- Knowledge of food allergies and allergens
