Job Description
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical engineering design and drafting, with a strong understanding of CAD packages and finite element analysis.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the design and manufacture of critical components for prototype and experimental systems. Your day-to-day tasks will include supporting R&D activities, managing component fabrication and acceptance, maintaining engineering management tools and documentation, collaborating with engineers and technicians, converting early concepts into detailed prototype designs, and providing practical engineering input to support trials and testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* CAD Proficiency: Proficient in multiple CAD packages, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
* Manufacturing Drawings: Skilled in producing detailed manufacturing drawings using computer-aided design software.
* Finite Element Analysis: Experienced in performing finite element analysis and structural analysis.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to challenge ideas constructively.

Working Environment
