The Opportunity
An opportunity is available for a skilled Rehabilitation Case Manager to join a collaborative and high-performing Work Health and Safety team. In this role, you will contribute to the effective management of early intervention, compensable, and non-compensable cases, providing practical support to both employees and managers.
You will work across a broad and interesting caseload, applying your expertise to deliver outcomes that directly support organisational and employee wellbeing. The Role
Manage a diverse caseload of compensable, non-compensable, and early intervention medical cases within a dynamic environment.
Key duties include:
* Manage compensable cases in accordance with the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988
* Manage non-compensable and early intervention medical cases in line with organisational policies and the Public Service Act 1999
* Maintain accurate, confidential records and case notes in compliance with legislative and policy requirements
* Provide expert advice and support to employees, managers, and internal stakeholders
* Contribute to the development and delivery of WHS and rehabilitation-related projects and initiatives
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with external providers and partners to support positive return-to-work outcomes
The Ideal Person
To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and highly organised rehabilitation professional with demonstrated experience managing cases within a legislative framework. You bring a strong understanding of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988, and apply a considered, empathetic approach to deliver practical, client-centred solutions.
You are known for your attention to detail, resilience under pressure, and ability to build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You approach challenges with a calm, solutions-focused mindset and maintain professionalism in sensitive situations.
Holding Comcare-approved training and a current Baseline security clearance, you demonstrate integrity, leadership, and a strong commitment to supporting organisational wellbeing strategies. You are ready to step into a critical role where your expertise will be both valued and impactful.
Salary / Rate
* $65/hr - $70/hr + Super
* 12-month labour hire contract
* Immediate start on offer
* Current Baseline clearance is required for this role
