The role
Senior Project Manager - Salesforce Implementation Remediation Contract: Initial 3 months, with potential to extend Location: Brisbane preferred, hybrid working available Start: Interviews next week, immediate start preferred An experienced Senior Project Manager is required to lead the recovery and stabilisation of a complex ERP and Salesforce-integrated finance systems project. The business is currently working through a critical phase of a finance ERP implementation that integrates with an established Salesforce environment. The project is intended to improve end-to-end finance workflows, automation, data quality, reporting, and operational visibility. The project is currently behind schedule and requires a hands-on Senior Project Manager who can bring structure, governance, and clear delivery discipline to a complex environment. This person will work closely with IT, finance, and external delivery partners to assess the current state, identify key risks, and support the business towards a successful go-live. Key responsibilities: Lead the recovery and remediation of a complex ERP and Salesforce-integrated project Review current project status, delivery risks, technical dependencies, and governance gaps Establish clear project controls across scope, change, testing, deployment, decision-making, and issue management Work closely with finance, IT, and external implementation partners to drive delivery outcomes Provide structure and clarity across a project with multiple technical and business dependencies Support remediation planning ahead of a planned go-live Improve visibility of project risks, priorities, ownership, and next steps Help stabilise delivery and reduce reliance on undocumented or poorly understood legacy configuration Support stakeholder confidence through clear communication, practical planning, and strong delivery leadership Ensure the solution supports improved finance processes, automation, reporting, and data quality Essential requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering Salesforce implementation projects Strong background across ERP, finance systems, or Salesforce-integrated business platforms Experience recovering, remediating, or stabilising complex technology projects Strong understanding of project governance, delivery controls, change management, testing, and go-live readiness Experience working across finance, IT, and third-party implementation partners Ability to quickly assess delivery risks, technical dependencies, ownership gaps, and project priorities Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams Comfortable operating in ambiguous or challenging project environments Highly regarded: ERP or finance systems implementation experience Experience with Salesforce-integrated finance platforms Exposure to systems such as Business Central, MYOB, Navision, or similar finance systems Experience supporting project remediation ahead of go-live The opportunity: This is a high-impact contract role suited to someone who enjoys stepping into complex project environments and getting things back on track. The business needs a confident, pragmatic Senior Project Manager who can quickly understand the current landscape, improve governance, and guide the project through a critical remediation phase. Brisbane-based candidates are preferred, with an expectation of being onsite a couple of days per week. Strong candidates based elsewhere may also be considered.
