Lead Rural Sales and Operations
Rural sales managers play a key role in driving growth, exceeding sales targets, and delivering excellent customer service. In this position, you will manage all aspects of rural products operations and lead your team to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage sales and inventory performance including aged inventory, stock turns, and debtor arrangements.
* Oversee branch staffing requirements including recruitment, rostering, training, and performance management.
* Nurture and grow the sales team to achieve targets, upskill capabilities, and provide value-added training with suppliers.
* Provide exceptional customer service and advice on rural products while introducing new product lines.
* Assist with the development and implementation of retail strategies; including implementing and driving key sales campaigns and activities.
About You:
* You have experience leading dynamic sales teams and a background in agronomy or the rural industry.
* You possess strong business and financial acumen with the ability to interpret and prepare P&L reports.
* You are passionate about building strong relationships, creating a positive and collaborative team environment.
* You are proficient in using the Microsoft suite and operating POS systems.
* You have an understanding of agriculture products, seasonal requirements, the region, and our competitors.
* You are a team player with great communication skills and a collaborative approach.
