About the role: The Theatre Orderly Team Leader position involves overseeing the safe and effective operation of theatre support services and delivering day-to-day leadership to the theatre orderly team. The role maintains alignment between orderly tasks and established work routines, schedules, and agreed procedures. Reporting to the Theatre Orderly Coordinator, this position contributes to optimising service delivery. Coordinate and supervise daily work assignments for team members while conducting regular quality inspections of theatre orderly services and standards Collaborate with the Theatre Orderly Coordinator in developing staff rosters and ensuring appropriate skill mix allocation across all theatre areas Mentor and advise employees on proper theatre procedures, workflow processes, and workplace safety practices to ensure compliance with operational standards About you: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with strong relationship-building skills across all levels Skilled in developing and implementing training initiatives that enhance team knowledge and competency Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in challenging situations Previous experience working in a theatre setting with proven track record of delivering high quality and safe care consistent with National Safety and Quality standards Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
