With a welcoming and supportive culture, you'll be working alongside some of the most knowledgeable professionals in the industry.About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Consultant to join a high-performing team.
In this role, you will act as the main point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring service bookings are managed effectively, customer needs are met, and communication flows seamlessly between internal teams and clients.
Your goal will be to deliver an outstanding customer experience while supporting operational efficiency within the workshop.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist customers with service enquiries via phone, email, and in personAccurately record customer concerns and provide advice on products, equipment, and servicesGenerate work orders and service quotesLiaise with schedulers, technicians, and supervisors to monitor job progress and provide updates to customersProcess and invoice completed workshop jobs promptly, ensuring month-end processes are completed on timePrepare service reports and quotes for new jobs using Dynamics or similar systemsCommunicate additional repair needs and obtain customer approvalsMaximise workshop sales of labour, parts, and consumables while ensuring parts availabilityManage administration of warranty jobs, parts, and storagePromote additional services or products where appropriateSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience in customer service or administrationStrong customer service skills with a solutions-focused approachAbility to thrive in a fast-paced workplace and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport across internal and external stakeholdersFlexible, adaptable, and team-oriented work ethicTechnical knowledge of municipal vehicles or related equipment is highly desirableExperience working with a mobile workforce will be an advantage
