Super Spray is looking for a Unicorn. By that we mean a Spray Painter that can do a bit more than just paint. An automotive background would be advantageous.
Our core business is Spray Painting and sandblasting from our two workshops, one in Bayswater and one in Maddington. We mostly paint OEM parts for manufacturing companies related to mining. In addition, we also paint 4 x 4's and Light Trucks. This portion of our work requires some dismantling and re-assembling of vehicles and a little bit of bog work. There is no colour matching, no blending out and no metallics or pearl coats, all our work is Direct Gloss. Our paint line here is PPG 625.
We are chasing a Painter - (Male or Female or LGBTQIA+) that has at least 4 years' experience, confident and who is capable of doing a job right, first time, every time. An attention to detail is very important here as we consider ourselves a quality paint shop. We are fussy and like to see a good job done.
As a Painter you will not be required to Sand Blast, unless you have a sandblast fetish that you really need to satisfy, then we may be able to help with that. Also, you will not be able to bring your glass barby here as we don't employ meth heads or smokers. You can bring a good, positive, friendly attitude though.
Our working hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm - so 50 hours per week. No weekend work is required. Our rates are reasonable for city rates $45 - $50 p/h based on your skills. So, between $117,000 to $130,000 Per annum.
As a professional you should have your own spray guns, but if you have spent all your money partying instead of buying tools that make you money, then we can supply you with guns to get you through each week.
You will need reliable transport and a driver's licence.
