Overview

The Strategic Policy, Science and Engagement team seeks an Administration Support Officer to provide high‐quality administrative and business support. This role is central to the smooth day‐to‐day operations of the group and offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

In this role you will:

* Provide a broad range of administrative and coordination support, including managing meetings and events, handling enquiries, maintaining records and supporting recruitment and onboarding activities.
* Assist with financial administration tasks such as processing purchase orders, monitoring expenditure, managing invoices and generating reports.
* Support the Deputy Secretary and Executive Manager with scheduling, correspondence, travel coordination and document management.
* Assist teams across the group with ad‐hoc administrative needs during peak periods.

About You

You are a reliable and organised professional with experience providing business and operational support in a fast‐paced environment, strong attention to detail, and comfort working with content management platforms and finance systems. You understand the importance of following policies and procedures, can apply them confidently, and manage competing priorities while exercising sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality. You bring strong organisational skills, a customer‐focused approach, and a collaborative, adaptable attitude that nurtures a positive team culture.

Requirements include:

* Experience in administration and clerical support.
* Proficiency in managing meetings, events, and records.
* Basic financial processing knowledge.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and with senior leaders.
