Randstad is seeking a Mechanical Reliability Engineer for a leading mining and resources organisation. This site-based role focuses on the end-to-end maintenance system, encompassing parts, procedures, work quality, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop operating and work procedures for the team working on the reliability program
* Evaluate site compliance with relevant standards and statutory obligations
* Complete upfront project works, including project initiation and execution documents, and raise execution requests as necessary
* Perform quality checks for execution tasks as required
* Participate in audits of site equipment and systems to ensure alignment with company requirements and regulatory compliance
* Analyze execution results from the weekly work schedule to support and ensure compliance with preventative maintenance practices
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Mining or Heavy Industry setting
* Excellent computing skills
* In-depth knowledge of Asset Management principles and experience
* Strong focus on safety and familiarity with OH&S and mining regulations
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* High level of technical expertise and attention to detail
* Positive attitude and energy
