Main Responsibilities

* Provide high-level support to the Director of Clinical Governance and Patient Safety & Clinical Quality Manager, managers, and staff.
* Collaborate with facility and service managers, staff, and consumers to identify opportunities for reviewing and improving patient safety, patient-centredness, and outcomes.
* Develop capacity-building initiatives, monitor performance, manage incidents and complaints, and disseminate relevant information.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Practitioner or tertiary qualifications in Allied Health with registration/relevant eligibility for association membership.
* Demonstrated experience in leadership roles with responsibility for organisational and/or clinical performance.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation and liaison with well-developed written and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of quality, patient safety, clinical risk management principles within the healthcare environment.
